Isaiah 59:1 – “Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened at all, that it cannot save, nor His ear dull with deafness, that it cannot hear.”
We often underestimate the ability of God’s hand in our daily life. The air we breathe, the water we drink, are all His provisions. During difficult times, we feel that God is not listening to our prayers, but that is not true. He listens to the needs of His people. His ears are always open to the cries of the helpless.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Phil. 4:13). God’s hand is not at all shortened. He protected the Israelites when they travelled for 40 years in the wilderness. Exodus 13:21 says, “By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night.” Their clothes and sandals did not wear off as they travelled for 40 years.
God cares about our smallest needs. He always provides and always sustains us. Even before we ask, He knows what we need and answers us in response to our prayers. Can you trust Him?
