Lamentations 3:22-23 – Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.
The goodness of God’s faithfulness to believers is apparent, because even when we are unfaithful to Him, He remains faithful to us. He knows where we are weak, and when we may falter. In fact, He knows us better than we know ourselves. After all, He is our Maker. He has inscribed you in the palms of His hands (Isa. 49:16). He is longsuffering and slow to anger (Ps. 145:8).
Whenever you are in need, you can rely on the faithfulness of God’s promises, such as these: “He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honour him” (Psalm 91:15); “And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Phil. 4:19). Can you remember about a time when you have called on God and He showed Himself faithful? Can you thank and praise Him for that?
