God is Dwelling in You

1 John 3:24 – He who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him.

Many things in our life will change over time. But by God’s grace, when the Holy Spirit enters the life of a believer, He is there to stay. 1 Cor. 6:19 says that God’s Spirit dwells in a believer and the believer is a temple of God’s Holy Spirit. This truth has profound implications for how we live. We should be good stewards of our body and not be careless about it.

Just as God abides in a believer’s life, we are to abide in Him. To abide in God is to live in His continual presence and as a result, be more like Him. He will be more manifest in our life as our life is hidden in Him. Therefore, we are to face every situation and relate to every person with the awareness that Jesus is always with us and within us.
