2 Cor. 9:8 – “God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you… may have an abundance for every good work.”
Grace is the quality of God which supplies undeserved favour. There are many areas in our life where we may normally fail miserably without God’s grace. Beyond the grace of God in salvation, grace is needed to be a good Christian. It is a required quality for family members, spouses, friends, servants. To be a good parent, you need grace. To be a good husband/wife, you need grace. To be a good child, you need grace. To be a good teacher, you need grace. The list goes on. Without the grace of God, it is impossible to do the things that the Lord has intended for us even in the normal daily walk of life.
Grace is a wide space, acreage full of forgiveness, humility, acceptance, safety and love. If you recall how much grace the Lord has bestowed upon you in each and every small thing in life without which you couldn’t do certain things, how can you thank Him enough? Today, are you in need of His grace in any area of your life? Ask Him, and He will supply you the grace required. His grace is enough for you.
