Read: Psalm 139:13-16
There are times when we feel worthless in our life. It might be when someone says that you are ugly or stupid or without sense. It might be the harsh words by a parent when they said that they didn’t want you because you were a girl or because you had a deformity. Remember that whatever the case, you are God’s valuable child, created in His own image. When God designed you in your mother’s womb, He loved you and destined a plan for you.
Ron Archer’s mother was a prostitute by chance. He was conceived in a wrong way. His mother decided to kill him before he was born by taking medicines and hurting herself by inflicting wounds on her foetus. Baby Ron was born prematurely without pancreas, ears, throat, small bladder (causing bed wetting) and faced difficulty in speaking (stuttering). His mother didn’t want him in this world. He was sexually abused at a tender age. When he was ten years old, Ron thought of ending his life. But God was merciful. He arranged a lady to teach him from the Bible to improve his speech due to stuttering. God healed him as he began to study and meditate on God’s Word. He was healed of his ailments. Ron was used for God’s divine purpose. God used him as an instrument to bring his family members to the Lord. Bishop Ron Archer is currently serving in God’s vineyard.
Our Heavenly Father needs us. We are worthy to Him. He has inscribed our names on the palm of His hands. He knows the number of hairs on our head. God uses the foolish things in the world to shame the wise. Even if you are forsaken by your family and friends, you are valuable in God’s eyes. Even if your mother has abandoned you, God will not forget you (Isa. 49:15). God has loved us with an everlasting love (Jer. 31:3). His love for us is immeasurable and infinite. God loved us even though we were sinners by sending His only precious Son Jesus Christ into this world for the penalty of our sins (Rom. 5:8). Be assured in your heart that God loves you and you are valuable to Him.
