Won 1st place in the Short Film Category of a week-long Talents Festival held last December 16-20, 2013 at Bible Baptist Church, Katipunan, Cebu City, Philippines.
The story focuses on the journey of a young man and how God has forged him to be who he is ’til his faithful end. The story was inspired by Yolanda’s rage in the Philippines last November 8, 2013 as it claims thousands of lives and broke the heart of many around the world.
In this fiction, Albert was a typhoon victim. He started to lose faith in God after his whole family died in the incident. Later on, he met Stacey (a pastor’s daughter) and was influenced by her faith. He eventually became a strong believer in God and a lover to Stacey. God started to call him in the ministry yet he kept refusing until another storm in his life happened. How is he going to handle this new tragedy? Will this be another test of his faith? Or will this be his last chance?
This short film portrays how unique God deals with every man whom He called for a purpose. God calls us to a single direction, we only go separate ways to get there. In this case, Albert goes on two different ways – Love, Life.
