EXODUS 3:10-12 “Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?” (NKJV)
The second excuse that Moses made conveyed the concept “In whose authority?” Moses asked God what he would tell the Israelites if they asked him who has sent him. God’s reply to Moses is a clear answer to our question “on whose authority or strength am I going to accomplish the task ahead of me?”
Many a time we look to ourselves and are reminded of our insufficiency in completing the task due to our weakness. But, let me remind us today that God is telling us that it is not our strength that is going to take us all the way, it is His power which is going to do it. We who have Christ in us accomplish great tasks not by our power or authority but by the power and authority of Christ who is living in us.
