Matt 6:27 – “Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?”
Anxiety is a harmful habit. It may be worth the cost if only it worked. But it doesn’t. Our worries and frets are futile. Worry has never brightened a day, solved a problem, or cured a disease.
Phil. 4:6 says, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” The Bible instructs us not to be anxious about anything. God is the One who leads us. And He will do the right thing at the right time. And His intervention is always the best.
Today what are the things that are bothering you? Can you roll them over to God and rest in the provision of God? If we can’t do anything by worrying, then isn’t it best to leave the issue to God?
