EXODUS 33:18-19 And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.” Then He said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.” (NKJV)
Another experience that propelled the ordinary Moses into becoming an extraordinary great leader whom we know today is the experience of “asking God for the impossible”. Moses asks God if He would go with the people of Israel, in response to it God assures Moses that His presence would go with them. Moses repeated asks the same question and God repeatedly assures him the same.
Then Moses asks God for something that was impossible. He asked God to show him His glory and we see God accepting that request. Until then nobody had seen God, it was impossible to see the glory of God and live. But God found a way to make it possible, He found a way to fulfil Moses’ request.
That’s the beauty of our God; He is the God who will do the impossible for us. He will find a way to make the impossible a possibility. Today, let me encourage us to ask God for the impossible and expect God to make the impossible possible!
